Vienna Folk Marathon 24/25 is confirmed. We have a good team steadily working & already a great venue for NYE booked, yay!
You may already check out travel and accomodation opportunities! Anyway we’re still in a quite early planning stage, too early to announce details.
About Folk Marathon
Folk Marathon is an international gathering of musicians and dancers in folk / trad / world music, happening once a year at one particular place (often a city) in Europe: So far, it has been happening in Vienna, Prague, Copenhagen, Tübingen, Brno, Porto, Ghent, Palermo and is returning to Vienna this year.
Folk Marathon is a nonprofit grassroots event, where participants share their knowledge, skills and music on a voluntary basis with each other: Five days full of workshops, jam sessions, open stages, balls and… a big New Year’s Eve party.
